Go Fusion!!

Happy Holi…

Heylo people… Holi is here and when we think about this festival the 1st thing that comes into our mind is colorsss. Yuppp… festival of colorsss, I love holi and I love when I see colorful people around. Colors have this tendency to cheer-up your mood at anytime..
So this post is specially for this festival Holi!!!
No Festival or celebration is complete without an ethnic look, but how about mixing your ethnic look with little western look to make it more happening??

Personally I am a big fan of hybrid fashion because it makes you stand out. It blends easily with any kind of celebration, whether it is a wedding/sangeet or a festival. You can even wear it to office, it just gives you that perfect look .Plus fusion fashion is totally in trend these days.

So here I tried 2 fusion looks for this Holi festival.

1. I wore this silk green dhoti pant (I have a same color kurta with this pant) with a bright pink peplum top.
Peplum top is a must have in your wardrobe and you can always pair it up with an ethnic skirt or a dhoti pant. You can either pair a contrast color peplum top with your ethnic lower or same color as your ethnic lower.
Also to Glam up my look a little, I paired it up with a golden belt and a kundan necklace which gives it a royal look and my current favorite..a Turban headwrap 🙂
Turbans are so much in trend these days, plus I can tell you all the advantages of wearing this turban headwrap look this Holi season…
– It saves your scalp from Holi color
– You can always wear it on a bad hair day..
– It gives you a royal ethnic look
So here’s my look Tadaaaaa…

I used a black base printed dupatta for my turban, you can also use a solid color dupatta with just a border for making your turban..
Guys and Girls…Why not throw a Turban holi party at your place and you can see how different people wear their turban look… It gives you such a rockstar look ;) What say??
I am definitely going to try this Turban party idea.. Its going to be so much fun

If you are not a fan of headwrap then you can also go for my below look and can put your belt over your dupatta.

Makeup: Lazer green hyper gloss liquid eyeliner from Maybelline

2. In my 2nd look, I wore this orange ethnic skirt with a wardrobe staple denim shirt to give it a fusion look. Styled it with a pom pom boho neckpiece and a boho bag to complete the look.
Denim shirt goes with almost all kinds of ethnic skirt…. It gives you a perfect fusion look.
